With some regularity I am going to post some yummy recipes. Some are my own and others come from different sources.
Pumpkin Bread

3 C Flour 4 Eggs
2 C Sugar 2 C Canned Pumpkin
1 t Salt 1 C Oil
1 t Baking Soda 1/2 C chopped nuts
2 t Baking Powder
1 T cinnamon
1 T allspice
Preheat oven to 350°
Grease 2 loaf pans
Place dry ingredients in a large bowl. Wisk well to combine.
Beat eggs in a medium bowl and add the oil. Mix well to combine.
Add pumpkin to egg mixture and mix well to combine.
Add egg/pumpkin mixture to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Transfer batter to prepared loaf pans.
Bake for one hour or until cake tester comes out clean.

Mmmmmm….. I love pumpkin bread! I may have to try this recipe. Do you get the canned pumpkin, or the canned pumpkin pure… or are they the same thing?
I think they are the same thing. I actually am not a pumpkin fan, but this one is great! We eat it for breakfast almost every Saturday morning.
