Hi Lori. A long time back, in 2011, you had left me a note on my blog site. I had been blogging about my son with special needs. I may have responded to you then, but I do not recall. I know it is 14 years later, but I would love to find out how things moved along with your kid and the SSDS school. You can get back to me at pgold@goldwasserfamily.org. Or you can just ignore me.

A “chill” day sounds like a very good plan!! Have a wonderful Shabbat and I’m sure the service will be very meaningful and memorable for everyone.

While at Alexis’s there was a knock on the door and in walks Navah Kogen. Navah works at Golda Och as the director of experiential education. We also know Navah’s mother, Linda Ripps, through USY and recently hosted her younger brother when our shul hosted a Kadima Shabbaton. In talking with her we figured out that she had very recently seen our tour guide David who told her that he was in the midst of touring with a family from the States. Small world…

I love the title of this post – and the feeling of being betrayed, or at the very least, being let down, is palpable. I also am not about political posts, or policies…but I am glad you posted this.

The spy ring was called the Culper Ring. Washington wanted to call it the Culpepper ring, named after a town in Virginia. One of the main men in the spy ring did not like the name Culpepper, so he shortened it to Culper.
